Emperor Cruises Legacy Halong is a 58-metre, 10-suite boutique vessel operated by Lux Cruises Group — positioned as "Vietnam's First Boutique Cruise Line" and the first 5-star Halong cruise to offer butler and limousine service. Built as a traditional ship in the finest materials and finished with gold-plated motifs, fine silk, velvet, brass and crystal, its design is inspired by Emperor Bảo Đại, the last Emperor of Vietnam, and a 1930s aesthetic. Its boutique size lets it reach the quieter, less-visited corners of Hạ Long Bay.
Emperor carries a maximum of 24 guests (typically 16–20) in 10 suites over three decks. Onboard are the Can Chanh Palace Royal Restaurant, the Mekong Lounge and The Moment Lounge & Sails, a 24-hour bar and room service, The Heritage Spa (sauna + massage rooms), a Lux floating art gallery and the Bao Dai Library. Most suites have a private balcony (the Hanoi and Saigon suites excepted), full ocean views, en-suite bathrooms and Jacuzzi bathtubs. Guests are looked after with butler service and round-the-clock care.
