1.Standard targeted
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, with selected Level AAA features.
2.Conformance status
As of 2026-05-18: partially conformant with Level AA. Audited by [ACCESSIBILITY_AUDITOR] on [AUDIT_DATE]. Findings documented in [AUDIT_REPORT_URL].
3.What works well
- Semantic HTML5 (main, nav, aside, article)
- Keyboard navigation (tab order matches visual order on all 13 hubs)
- Skip-to-content link at top of every page
- 4.5:1 minimum contrast (some 7:1 for body text)
- Alt-text on every gallery photo (PublishGate enforces it)
- Form fields have explicit label (no placeholder-as-label)
- prefers-reduced-motion respected (no auto-rotating carousels for users who opt out)
- Focus indicator visible (3px solid outline-offset for blue-text and buttons)
- Sitewide reading-order is logical (header → nav → main → footer)
4.Known gaps
- ☐ Captions on hero video sections (2 currently affected · target close: Sprint 7)
- ☐ Keyboard-only alternative for interactive map on /destinations/ (currently mouse-only — workaround: text list directly below map)
- ☐ Pricing tables on PDPs need scope attributes for screen readers (target close: Sprint 5)
- ☐ Some PDF brochures (downloadable from /tours/) are not tagged for screen readers — request a text version: access@asiatravellinksdmc.com
5.On-trip accessibility
- Wheelchair-accessible: Hanoi city tours, Halong Bay deluxe cruises, Saigon city tours, Ho Chi Minh complex — verified accessible suppliers
- Not currently accessible: Sapa trek, Phong Nha caves, Mekong sampan rural, Ta Prohm temple climb
- We can adapt with 30 days notice: dietary, dialysis-friendly itineraries, oxygen-friendly altitudes, large-print itinerary, audio briefing files
- Service-animal travel: please disclose at booking; some VN hotels need 7 days notice for partner approval
