How payment works on this site, accepted methods, fees, currencies, and security.
What this payment terms says in plain English
- ✓Accepted: bank wire (USD/EUR/VND) · Wise · VTCPay (Vietnamese credit card · Ticket PDP only at MVP).
- ✓We don't store card numbers — VTCPay or your bank does.
- ✓Currency = quote currency (USD default, can quote EUR/GBP/AUD on request).
- ✓Wire fees from your bank are yours · we eat receiving-bank fees.
- ✓All payments protected by VN consumer law + (for VTCPay) the VTCPay buyer-protection scheme.
1.Accepted methods
- Bank wire — to our
[BANK_NAME]account[ACCOUNT_NUMBER](USD/EUR/GBP/VND) - Wise (TransferWise) — to our verified Wise business account
- VTCPay — Vietnamese credit card processor · only used for /tickets/ instant-book products at MVP
- Stripe — coming Phase 2 (international credit card)
- Cash — only at our Hanoi office, never on tour
2.Currency
Quotes are in USD by default. We can re-quote in EUR, GBP, AUD, SGD, JPY upon request — use the live ECB FX rate on the day of confirmation.
3.Fees
- Bank wire: your sending fee is yours; our receiving fee (typically USD 5-10) is on us
- Wise: lowest cost, no ATL-side fee
- VTCPay: 3% VN credit card processing fee absorbed by ATL (no surcharge to you)
- Stripe (when live): 2.9% + USD 0.30 absorbed by ATL
4.Card security
ATL never sees or stores your card number. VTCPay is the merchant of record for ticket purchases; for tours/hotels/cruises/transfers we accept wire/Wise only at MVP. Stripe (Phase 2) will use Stripe Elements so card data never touches our servers.
5.Deposit schedule
Per Booking Terms §2: 30% on confirmation, 70% balance 30 days before arrival.
6.Late payment
If the balance is not received 30 days before arrival, we will send a reminder. If unpaid 25 days before, your booking is at risk of cancellation per Booking Terms §3 (15-29 day band = 50% refund). To avoid this, email us as soon as you anticipate a delay — we routinely grant 7-day extensions on request.
7.Invoices
Every payment receives a VAT invoice (HDDT in Vietnam, e-invoice elsewhere). Available in your email + downloadable from your booking page (when account system launches Phase 2). Vietnamese tax code on invoice: [TAX_CODE].

10.Currency conversion at refund
If you paid in USD and we refund in USD, no conversion. If you ask for refund in another currency, that is a foreign-exchange purchase you initiate with your bank — we will not do it for you.
